The story of Wouters & Hendrix starts in the precious metals’ department at the Royal Academy of Fine Art in Antwerp, their native town. They started designing jewellery together more than 20 years ago as best friends and are now a firm part of Antwerps Fashion scene. However, the artisanal character and “couture finish” of their designs (all using 100% sterling silver) has earned them international repute, loved by celebrities and fashionistas alike. Humour is an endless inspiration in their work resulting in daring and eclectic pieces. This jewellery is a dialogue between ostentation and austerity, between shadow and light.
